Tony Stanley is an experienced educator with more than 27 years of teaching experience and more than 10 years of teaching saxophone. During lessons Tony Stanley shares his formal education and training in music, as well as his extensive knowledge of saxophone music history in many musical genres including jazz, funk, blues and Latin. Tony has a current Working With Children card, Police clearance and Cert IV in Training and Assessment. prepping students for auditions or exams Tony focuses on the basics ensuring that proper technique and musicality is foremost and that the lesson is structured to suit the student’s ability and musical preference. Attention to music theory, good posture and technique, timing and reading during your lesson will provide you with good knowledge on which to base your playing.
